![]() Francisco Vazquez, the Endo Athletics Jiu-Jitsu PRO 2 co-main event winner, is set to face fellow jiu-jitsu Purple Belt Cody Jordan in a combat jiu-jitsu match in Knoxville, TN on August 24th for the inaugural Endo Athletics Fight Night Combat Jiu-Jitsu Featherweight Championship at Endo Athletics Fight Night 1. The match-up was confirmed this past week with both Vazquez and Jordan confirming on social media. Combat jiu-jitsu is a form of grappling that allows palm strikes when on the ground. It has been revolutionized with the Eddie Bravo Invitational events and has made its way to the Tennessee competition circuit over the past few years. Vazquez is a 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt competing out of 10th Planet Muscle Shoals in Muscle Shoals, AL, while Jordan is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple Belt competing out of Lucas Lepri Knoxville in Knoxville, TN.
Earlier this month Vazquez made his combat jiu-jitsu debut defeating long time MMA and Combat Jiu-Jitsu veteran Michael Ballard in the co-main event at Endo Athletics Jiu-Jitsu PRO 2. Jordan who is a long time competitor on the Tennessee jiu-jitsu circuit, holding wins over BJJ Black Belt Josh Cate, MMA veteran Will Bolduc, and BJJ Brown Belt Ryan Tucker, will be making his long awaited combat jiu-jitsu debut. Endo Athletics Fight Night 1 presented by Re/Max Excels will take place in Knoxville, TN on August 24th at the Christenberry Rec Center.
